Backing Options Explained
All embroidered and silk screen hybrid patches are available in three backing types:
- Iron-On: Heat-activated adhesive on the back. Apply with a household iron or heat press. No sewing required. Best for smooth fabrics like cotton, denim, and canvas.
- Sew-On: No backing adhesive. The patch is sewn directly onto the garment. Most durable long-term attachment method.
- Velcro (Hook-and-Loop): The patch has hook-side velcro. Attach to loop-side panels on bags, tactical vests, uniforms, and hats. Allows patches to be swapped and repositioned.
