Most custom merchandise suppliers want 500 pieces. Patch&Bagel starts at 20. Custom embroidered, woven and silk screen patches begin at 20 pieces (SGD $160 for 20), PVC patches at 30, and custom enamel pins at 50. No setup fee, no mould fee, free digital proof, and free worldwide shipping — which is what makes small runs viable for startups, clubs and small teams.
Why most suppliers don't work for small teams
The economics of traditional merchandise are built around volume. A 500-piece minimum plus a setup or mould fee means a 15-person team is quoted for 485 pieces they will never use. The setup fee alone can exceed the value of the order.
Patches and pins avoid that for two reasons: the tooling is cheap enough that we absorb it, and the per-piece price is genuinely usable at low volume. A team of 20 can order exactly 20.

| Silk screen patches | 20 pieces | SGD $8 each (SGD $160) | About 2 weeks |

How the price moves with volume
The per-piece price drops sharply as you scale, so it is worth knowing where the breakpoints sit before you decide a quantity.
- Embroidered, woven and silk screen patches: SGD $8 at 20 pieces, $7 from 30 to 50, $5 at 100, and $3 and below at 300.
- PVC patches: SGD $10 at 30 and 50, $7 at 100, $5 at 300, and $4 and below at 500.
- Enamel pins (2.5cm): SGD $4 at 50, $3 at 100, $2.60 at 200, $1.80 at 500, and $1.20 at 1,000. Each extra 0.5cm of size adds 10%, up to 4.5cm.
Going from 50 patches to 100 roughly halves the unit cost. If you are close to a breakpoint, ordering up is often cheaper in total than you would expect.
What to choose for a small team
- Team or club identity: an embroidered patch with velcro backing. People move it between bags, jackets and caps, so one patch gets used constantly.
- Name tapes and small text: woven, not embroidered. The finer weave keeps small type legible.
- Outdoor or field use: PVC. Waterproof, UV-resistant and survives repeated washing.
- Something wearable off-duty: an enamel pin. Higher minimum at 50, but the lowest cost per piece at volume.
- Photographic artwork or gradients: silk screen x embroidery, which reproduces detail thread alone cannot.

Frequently asked questions
What is the smallest order Patch&Bagel accepts?
20 pieces for embroidered, woven and silk screen patches. 30 for PVC patches and PVC luggage tags, and 50 for enamel pins and enamel magnets.
Is a small batch more expensive per piece?
Yes, but there is no setup or mould fee to make it worse. 20 embroidered patches are SGD $8 each; at 300 the same patch is SGD $3.
Can we mix several products in one order?
Each product and each design has its own minimum, so a mixed order means meeting the minimum for each item separately. Send the full brief and you will get one quote covering everything.
How far ahead should we plan?
Confirm artwork 6 to 8 weeks before any fixed date. Production is about 2 weeks after proof approval, or 4 weeks for PVC, plus shipping. There is no rush service.
Do you invoice companies and accept purchase orders?
Yes. Include your PO number with your brief and it will be referenced on the invoice. Patch&Bagel is registered on GeBIZ and Vendors@Gov for Singapore public-sector buyers, UEN T22LL1167G.
