How to apply an iron-on patch (so it stays on)
- Prep the fabric: make sure it's clean, dry, and flat. Iron the area first to remove moisture and creases.
- Position the patch: place it exactly where you want it — it won't move easily once bonded.
- Apply heat: set the iron to a high, dry (no steam) setting. Place a thin cloth over the patch and press firmly for about 30–40 seconds.
- Press the back: flip the garment and press from the inside for another 15–20 seconds.
- Cool completely: let it cool before touching or wearing. For jackets, bags, or anything washed often, sew around the edge for extra hold.
